Power for what reason? None I have encountered are so mindless that they didn't have a reason. Whether or not I found it acceptable or not is another matter altogether.

[ And this is why most Spoken races are just so short-sighted. ]

Is someone not capable of doing good for the wrong reasons? Doing ill for the right ones?

Power for the sake of power! I'm talking about EVIL people, here! I ain't talking about someone who stole money for their family or killed someone in revenge of a loved one that was murdered. If you have a good reason to commit crime then I'm willing to listen to the reason before judging. And of course there's Heroes who are just complete losers and fall into darkness, that's natural!

But there are also people who genuinely like being evil! Who feel the need to take everything from everyone else so that THEY have it all to themselves! And THOSE are the people that I call "Villains"!

Those are the people that I dedicate my life to stopping!

A life for a life is the rule of law in some places. Would you call them evil people?

I have met some truly evil persons that have not one whit beyond "to see if I can." Yet I have encountered others who have committed atrocities because they truly believed it would save themselves or their star.

No, I personally can't blame someone for a revenge killing but if they're a Villain who kills a Hero because that Hero killed one of their friends, then I'll have to fight them whether I agree with their decision or not.

If people do some evil shit to save themselves, then they're selfish. You can always ask for help, but some people are so stupid that they'd rather go off on their own and do rash things and ruin their lives.

A lot of Villains wouldn't be Villains if they just used their brains for one second.

The world to you might be as thus, but for many it is not. There may be invisible chains that prevent the very actions you consider obvious to be even considered options.

I care not to change your mind. Merely realize that such stringent views may yet go challenged.
