[Molly's sitting at a table, covered with purple-red cloth, with a stack of cards in front of him and his swords resting against the edge of the table. Writing is complicated, and this 'recording' thing is so handy.
Anyway-
He claps his hands and gives a little theatrical bow, long hair falling on his shoulders, and little trinkets on his horns giving a little jingle-]
Mollymauk Tealeaf, at your service. It couldn't pass me by that the atmosphere, aside from the gatherings to eat and be merry, is a bit down. So I'm here to cheer you up!
It's simple- a story for a story!
You give me the most interesting or outrageous fact about yourself, and in return, get a free reading of your luck for tomorrow!
Sounds like a fair trade to me, hmm?
I prefer doing this in person, but this will have to do- I learned it can reach a lot of people a lot faster~

[ "Born" is a bit of a stretch, but. It's the only thing he can think of to say, and he was curious about Molly's readings. It makes him anxious to even confess that fact about himself, like he's done something wrong by doing it, but in a place like this, it's probably fine? ]
I don't know if that's- interesting enough, but. If you'd like I can think of something else?

bowsmile, and picks up the deck-]Well, well- it IS interesting! Trust me~ If you elaborate more on it, it would be even better!
[He expertly shuffles the cards and fans them out on the table-]
Take your pick!

[ He chooses a card at random, hoping it's obvious which one he means through the recording. ...Sigma is a perceptive man, and while he notices a slight reaction from Molly after he confesses his secret, it's fast enough that he isn't sure if it's just his imagination.
Still... the thought that maybe he's being judged makes his stomach drop a little... ]
There's not much to say, really. Three years ago, I woke up in a desert with a nothing but a train ticket, and no past to speak of.
[ There's a reason he knows it wasn't a case of simple amnesia, but he's not quite ready to talk about the Book. ]

[He picks the card pointed out (or one he thinks the guy pointed out), and gathers the others.
What the guy says makes his eyebrows raise in surprise- genuine surprise that covers up a tinge of shock at just how similar the situation is to his own.]
Well, that's so peculiar! Ever tried to look for your past? [He flips the card, showing a traveling coach with people around it, and no, it doesn't look like a normal tarot card-] Because the card shows you really want to either start looking or continue to do so.

All of my interesting facts are sexual. Is that fine?
[She's at least polite enough to ask first.]

Well now! Of course those count they are the most personal things. Share what you are comfortable with darling ~

[After some rummaging around, she holds up a picture of some kind of horrible red beast with dozens of eyes and deadly sharp claws. The photo says a lot more than her stories could ever say, really.]

[He is not judging people and their choices in partners. Not his style personally- he likes it rough but there's a limit to it.]
Now, to return the favor! [he picks up the deck and expertly shuffles the cards, then fans them out on the table,] Take your pick!

OK so, I was doing some mercenary work for a mafia family, right? Then I noticed that their rival family was also hiring, so I was like, what's better than one contract? Two contracts.
Playing double agent was fun for a while, but eventually I found out that a guy from one family and a girl from the other family were having a whole star-crossed lovers tragic romance thing going on. Both of them knew me, and they were both super hot, so I was like, hey, why don't we make the three of us a thing?
I'm pretty sure I almost talked them into it, is the thing. If her brother hadn't seen me and outed me as a double agent, I would've been working for and sleeping with both families at once.

You made an elaborate scheme and almost died for a threesome? [He quirks his eyebrows.] That's so much work I'd never put in for a night of fun. That's impressive. [And that's coming from a guy who lies for a living.]
Perhaps next time! Perhaps- the cards will show us if you'll have success next time!
[He fans the cards out on the table and grins-] Take your pick!

[Rui puts a hand to his chin as he thinks for a minute.]
Would my habit of breaking into my home town's theme park to put on plays with the robots I make count as interesting to you?
no subject
[He has a feeling there's something else up here behind the curtain.]
no subject
I had to break in with the robots. The park didn't have them already. And they weren't exactly fond of my coming in at random times and performing unauthorized show. But between you and me that was part of the fun. I had to figure out how to get my robots both in and out on my own and do so quickly so that they didn't get taken by the guards. I didn't want to get caught either, of course.
There was a broken down part of the walls hidden behind some plants that were growing in a lesser traversed part of the park. No one figured it out, even after I was actually hired to perform there properly. So no matter what they did to try to keep me out, I kept coming back with out issue.

Sounds like that was quite an adventure you've been on! What kind of street act? I was performer myself at a carnival.

[ And though it's technically him that's supposed to be telling the stories, he can't resist asking ] What kind of performer are you?

[ He's been through quite a bit and every time he opened up about half of it, everyone around him looked like he'd started defusing a bomb in front of them. ]
Mm... I've got stories about fighting up a gang's headquarters with only a doctor behind me to save someone, I've fought two different killers on different occasions and they're the reason for half my scars, I've gone to a weird predation club... I've been dumped in the ocean for dead, wore a dress and heels on a battlefield, I pulled all my teeth out and then grew them back once... [ That's not even touching on eating someone's leg, but that's not really first conversation stuff to admit... ]
Does any of that work?
no subject
[He's listening patiently whilst shuffling cards skillfully, not even having to look at his hands.]
Oh my, and here I thought I lived through some shit. That one where you fight in a dress and heels sounds fascinating. [Out of all of that... probably because it would be something he'd do as well...] The teeth pulling out is a thing of nightmares.

Tell you what- we meet up for drinks and then exchange stories. They always settle better over a pint of beer.
