[ Here's a new face, unless one has spied him stalking one Shang Qinghua. Or lurking in the background. Mobei-Jun stares at the tiny screen for a long moment. To those familiar, he looks uncomfortable. To most though, he just looks annoyed. ]

Airplanes. I need to know more about them. And if there are any here.

[ And now he waits, clearly used to getting what he demands. ]

Do you not have airplanes in your world? [ His tone is polite, even if his grin isn't. ] To answer your question, they are vehicles of mass transportation capable of moving people through the air at high speeds. It lets people travel across continents and oceans quickly.

[ Mobei-Jun is silently judging that wide grin, Geto. Judging. ]

I have never seen one, hence the question. [ Not Huffing. Nope. But then some of his annoyance is mollified by the information his human hasn't really provided.

Mollified but also even more inwardly confused as to why he's never heard of such a thing before now! If anything, his outward annoyance seems to deepen. ]

Are they difficult to acquire?

An entire airplane? [ That amuses him, although he takes the question seriously. ] A large aircraft, capable of carrying hundreds of people, would be difficult to acquire. There are smaller ones, which mostly require money. There's the purchase, upkeep, a crew to run the airplane, fuel, hanger space, and runway fees. If you can fly yourself, there are much smaller airplanes that can hold a handful of people. Those don't travel the same distance, of course, since they are much smaller.

I'm not sure if they have airplanes here, much less ones for purchase. [ He considers the man on the other side of the camera, curious. ] Why do you wish to acquire an airplane?

[ Now he looks even more annoyed at the logistical issues in getting this gift for his human. It's all so stupid!

So he'll just need to figure something else out. Maybe something out of ice...? He needs to get a better idea of what the damn things look like first though. One picture just isn't enough! ]
