Good day, one and all. For those who don't know, my name is Baizhu. I come to you with a very specific and perhaps unusual request. In particular - a request to those here who are, in some way or another, considered to be immortal in their own world.

I would appreciate if anyone willing would come by the Research Centre and supply me with a physical sample for research I am currently undertaking. This is of course entirely voluntary; there is no need to be alarmed.

If anyone with any concerns would prefer to speak with me face to face before coming to the centre please respond accordingly. I have put aside more than enough time for this eventuality.

One other, but he is often at the centre regardless of whether I need to speak with him.

[Most people he has spoken to have wanted to know too much, have been difficult from the outset, or have simply made threats... at least he has something to make a start with. It's more than he expected.]

But of course. I will arrive shortly. [ And around 30 minutes later Aeacinos will knock on said door and invite himself in once told to do so. His appearance is that of a normal man this time around. It's easier to get around like that but there is a smirk on his lips as he bends down a bit to get inside the room. ]

Well, what is this physical sample you wish to take? I am quite intrigued to see what conclusion you come to from it.

[Baizhu keeps himself busy while he waits for Aeacinos to arrive, convincing himself that the fluttering about the lab that he's doing is simply anticipation and nothing to do with who he is waiting for.

(It does, in fact, have everything to do with who he is waiting for.)

He straightens up when the man enters the room, putting his hands behind his back.]

If you don't object, I would very much appreciate a sample of your blood. [Then he gestures to a chair.] Have a seat.

[ Aeacinos can't help but laugh when he catches Baizhu putting his hands behind his back like that. Aeacinos is the least strict and proper person, especially with those he's comfortable around so seeing the other man do that is amusing. ] You do not need to act so proper, doctor. If it's my blood you wish for, then you may have it.

[ His reply is noncommital as he takes the offered seat with a smirk. ] I will say that mine is not that of normal humans or nagas. Though I hope you find it to your benefit to study, as it is imbued with the power of my goddess.

It not being normal is exactly what I'm counting on.

[The more unusual the better, in fact. If he ended up with a group of samples that were no different to his own then he wasn't going to get anywhere. Baizhu decides not to address the comment to his posture as he prepares a needle and moves over, making sure he can get at Aeacinos' arm before tying a strip of cloth tightly around it just above his elbow.]

But do tell me more about that.
