I just got somethin' from home back recently so I'm wonderin' if anyone actually knows if there's a place that sells CD players.

I got some music from my band back home, and I'd like ta be able ta listen ta it. If anyone else wants ta also listen to it once I get somethin' fer it, let me know.

Sure! I'm in Blossomcrown running the charity kissing booth this morning but the rain's supposed to stop by noon so I can meet you wherever after that.

Does 'round 2 PM work? I'll prob'ly be at the park nearby after to do some meditation.

Sure! Where at? Blossomcrown Central Park's pretty big.

Prob'ly close to the performance stage?

Sure! I'll definitely remember, Megumi-chan!

[Around the time specified, Megumi can be found meditating -- she's standing on the stage with her eyes closed right next to a guitar and what seems to be a boombox; it's not playing music right now at least so the sight looks rather serene.]

[Rinku shows up, wearing a light rain jacket that's still got rain streaks and glowing with touch energy. ...Not a metaphor, she's actually glowing. She waves, sparkles in her eyes as always.]

Hi, Megumi-chan! You got a CD player? How is it?

Yeah... I haven't tested it yet, though.

Hm... I think as long as it has batteries, it should be good.

[She vaults up onto the stage and sits beside Megumi.]

I wanna hear, I bet it's great!

Well, even if it ain't got batteries, I can charge it up pretty easily.

But hold on a sec...

[And she crouches down to hit play as a song begins to play, lyrics pouring out passionately and with quite a bit of intensity.]

[Rinku claps and kicks her legs off the edge of the bandstand excitedly. She starts bopping around and humming along, getting really into the song. When it's finished, she pumps her fists.]

That's great, Megumi-chan! It sounds so cool! Is that your favourite band?

Well it'd be a shame if it weren't my favorite band, since I play in it.

[She picks up the guitar next to her and starts to play a little bit of the chorus.]

Woooooooow!

[Rinku excitedly bounces in her seat.]

That's really cool! What's your band like? How long have you guys been playing?

Well, everyone in my squad's in it but to be honest... the real amazin' one is Ruka. She's one of the singers, who wrote that song.

Wow, really? That's cool! You guys must all be close if you work together and you're in a band.

'Suppose so. We've just been in the band fer a couple'a months...

Really, and you guys are that good? That's so cool! Who had the idea?

...Ruka did. She used ta be a famous rockstar in a band, actually. She's also our squad leader.

Whoa...

[Rinku tilts her head and hums, thinking and looking over Megumi.]

You really miss her, huh?

[There's a wistful smile.]

I miss all of 'em.

...I hope they get to come here. I miss my unitmates, too.

[Worried noise.]

Do you think they'd like it here?

They'd prob'ly like it here, but... I don't think they'd wanna stay here.

Eh?

[Blink blink. Rinku tries to process this, slowly tilting her head.]
