[It's not every day, when someone posts a video to the network with a baby dragon on her shoulder, and she's holding two more of them in her arms too. First(??) time for everything with this young woman on screen here doing so right now.]
I am Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen and I am new here.
[Or just Daenerys or Daenerys Targaryen is fine too but she'll leave that unsaid. She could go on with the list of her titles and other things added to that, but she'll leave it at that this time. But since this thing is supposed to be the thing, that lets her talk to everyone else here at once, here she is with an important question today.]
Does anyone here know what do dragons eat? [a beat, another...] These three just hatched before we arrived here if that makes any difference.
[And yes, she may have heard that they eat meat but the person, who told that to her never elaborated more on that and also he knew nothing about dragons or about anything else either, so... Maybe she'll have better luck with answers to that here.]

[Not that he's ever helped with raising a baby dragon, but he's BEEN a baby dragon so he should be good at it, right?]

That's -- not how babies usually eat. [Or what babies usually eat, but obviously they are not like usual babies or some baby animals.] Do you mean raw meat or should I prepare it somehow?
[Because she would do that for them or see whatever they'll want to do to it themselves if that's more like a personal prefence.]
... Maybe. [Yes, yes she does need help considering she's here asking basic questions like what do they eat!!] Or at least everyone needs socializing but they're the first and only dragons, that anyone has seen back in my home world in almost 150 years.
[So you know, no one there (including her) knows much about them or how to raise them aside from stories about how there used to be dragons and what they did while they were still alive. And even if it is kind of hard for her to trust anyone at the moment after everything, that just happened back home, she really needs assistance with them so... Please help!!]

It really depends on the type of dragon! If they're fire dragons, I recommend well done meat, nothing raw. They tend to cook their prey with their fire breath, so they'll probably have the same instinctive revulsion to raw meat that humans do.

There are different types? [Asking all the questions today.] Considering they just hatched in a fire back where we are from, I am pretty sure they are fire dragons. I will keep that in mind about raw meat, thank you, though I have not seen their fire breath yet, can they do that even when they are this small?

I can't say for your own world, but there were many types of dragons in mine. I was raised by a Sky Dragon, for example.

I don't know if there have been many types of dragons in my home world too, there could have been, but these three are the first dragons, that anyone has seen there in about a century and half.
[Aaaaand more surprises to Dany's day, she's quiet for a moment while she's trying to think of words after hearing that!]

But as much as that makes her think back to all the sad things, that happened back home so recently? Daenerys bottles it all up and doesn't let any of her grief or pain show on her face, instead she smiles softly at the girl on screen.]

Yes. Yes, they are. And thank you for the welcome.
[They are her precious little babies, who mean everything to her and she'll do anything for them even after they stop being so little. Navia gets a curious look for the word, that she says before Stormborn. Another language? Not any of the ones, that Daenerys can speak or understand.]
Madem--? [She tries to say it but no luck or at least she doesn't spell it right.] What does that mean?
[And it's not just the look on her face, her tone is curious too.]
That's one more dragon than anyone back in my home world had met in more than a century before these three hatched.
[And most of that world still hasn't seen or met them, but they will, eventually.]
Any water? Or just water in nature like streams, rivers and seas? Who knows, they might really like it too but we weren't anywhere near any water back home, so I have yet to see how they'll react to it.
[Well, she could have tested their reactions to it here but it's been one culture shock and surprise after another, and this post was her first priority, so she hasn't been anywhere near any water here yet either. Or they just missed the pond in Blossomcrown.]

Truth be told, he currently resides here, in Ellipsa. I am sure he would be thrilled to know that more of his kind are among us.

Oh, of all kinds. He once held a water-tasting party for the people of our city so he could appropriately educate us on the joys of the different flavors and types of waters. I'm ashamed to say that most of us simply do not understand it the way he does... but he is a dragon of water, so I suppose that makes sense? But it is also why such a thing might not quite work for your darlings...
